PERSONALIZED SUPPORT FROM LYNNE BYRNE AT THRIVE PSYCHOTHERAPY

Our therapeutic work together will begin with empathic listening as I gather information, learn about what brought you to therapy and earn your trust. When you feel ready, we will roll up our sleeves and step into the active work of CBT/DBT that will help you reach your therapeutic goals. Through our sessions, you'll gain insight, develop skills to identify and challenge problematic thinking/behavioral patterns and learn strategies to cope with symptoms and challenges.  

The structured approach I offer utilizes the T.E.A.M. CBT framework, based on the clinical work of Dr David Burns at Stanford University. Within this framework I integrate aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and more.

Testing:

Before and after every session, I ask my clients to complete a Brief Mood Survey and an Evaluation of the Therapy session symptoms and the therapeutic relationship.

Empathy:

Each session begins with me listening empathetically and non-judgmentally before we jump into the active work of CBT.

Assessment:

Because there are often reasons we hang onto anxiety, depression, habits or a relationship conflict, we explore and confront these obstacles to melt our resistance and boost motivation.

Powerful CBT methods will teach you how to challenge and change negative thinking patterns that fuel your anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, fear, habits and addictions, relationship problems and more.
